Utah County Swing Shift Lube Technician

Job Description:

The primary purpose of this job is to perform service and maintenance on all fleet trucks.

Must have full use of body and senses to use heavy materials, and repair heavy equipment. Good eyesight and depth perception are necessary for most jobs. Must be able lift 75 lbs. All of the day will be spent standing with frequent squatting, bending, reaching and twisting. Bending and flexing of the arms, wrists, and hands is very frequent throughout the day. Senses of sight, hearing, smell and speech are required. Ability to climb and balance is necessary.

Job Highlights:

• Starting wage is between $24/hour depending on experience.
• $2.00 per hour shift differential Pay in addition to the hourly wage listed above.
• Monday through Friday 1:30pm to 10:30pm with Overtime
• Annual Tool Reimbursement after one year of service, 2x times a year.

Experience and Skills:

• Must have a high school degree.
• Clean driving record, and must have a valid Driver's License
• Basic computer skills with the ability to accurately write and document detailed work/repair orders.
• Experience with mechanics, metal fabrication, painting, tire repair and welding are helpful.
• One year experience with service is a plus.

Language & Reasoning Skills:

Clear communication and legible handwriting are necessary for daily operations. Must be able to comprehend English well enough to understand orders from a supervisor, communicate them to others, and write new work orders.

Mathematics & Electrical:

Knowledge of basic math, weights measurements, is required. Any further math skills in physics are very helpful. Knowledge of electrical wiring and repair is also help.
